Even though the season one finale of “Grown-ish” just aired last month, we’re already excited to see season two!
Luckily, Yara Shahidi (who plays Zoey Johnson in the Freeform series also starring fan-favorite sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey) opened up in a recent interview about everything she hopes to see in the upcoming episodes. And even though the 18-year-old actress — who’s attending Harvard University in the Fall — admitted that she knows little to nothing about the sophomore season, she did dish on what she’s most excited about:
“Season two, I’m excited to have a breath, in terms of extending these storylines. Zoey’s now a more determined and more settled human, so I’m looking forward to episodes of her being super obstinate, because she has her perspective and no one’s going to shift it,” she explained.
