Don't worry, your favorite HBO show isn't ruined — they were happy tears.

Thandie Newton's first nude scene for "Westworld" was an emotional one, but for all the right reasons.

The actress plays Maeve — a robotic character that runs a brothel in the elaborate amusement park — and was naked a lot in the first season. She told The Daily Beast she "wanted to cry" after the first time she had to strip down for the show, because the director, Jonathan Nolan, made such an effort to make her feel comfortable and respect her privacy.

"I just wanted to cry because I never, ever had been treated like that in a situation where I was nude, and I’ve been nude or semi-nude a lot in movies And it took me a moment to recover myself to carry on," she said. "And I was treated that way every single time I was nude."

"It is a revelation to me, to all of us who had to be naked," the Emmy-nominee continued. "The grace, and the consideration, and the sensitivity. On the one hand, I was so appreciative. On the other hand, I was horrified by what I had been through up until then. I had delayed horror."

"I assumed that when I came back for Season 2 I’d have to get naked," Newton said. However, now that the hosts are in control of the park, producer Lisa Joy said, "They’re going to spend a lot less time naked on a stool."

The new season, which premieres this Sunday, will contain less nude scenes overall. In fact, in the premiere there will be only one person that will be unclothed — a male actor playing a human character. That's a nice change of pace, too.

"Westworld" Season 2 premieres April 22 on HBO.
