Don’t expect to see Sofia Richie on Keeping Up with the Kardashians any time soon.
While the 19-year-old model may be inseparable from Scott Disick offscreen, she’s been noticeably absent from her boyfriend’s side whenever the reality star appears on show. So, what’s the deal? Does it all have to do with Kourtney Kardashian? Well, surprisingly no.
According to TMZ, the reason Sofia hasn’t made a cameo on the popular E! series is because her 34-year-old boyfriend has yet to formally introduce her to the family — particularly the kids Scott shares with his ex-girlfriend. Insiders close to the production tell the outlet the couple, who went public with their relationship this fall, haven’t crossed that bridge.
Seeing so, sources say Sofia has been staying away from the set whenever Scott needs to film scenes with his children: Mason, 8, Penelope, 5, and Reign 3. Though she is friends with Younes Bendjima, who’s been dating Kourtney for almost a year, the insiders claim Sofia does not know Kardashian sisters personally.

However, that doesn’t mean Sofia won’t be on TV soon! As previously reported, the daughter of Lionel Richie was spotted with a camera crew in tow while partying with her beau at Art Basel in Miami early December. It was unclear what she was filming at the time, but some suspected it was a spin-off centered around the twosome’s much talked-about May-December romance.
“They really like spending time together. A lot of people might have something to say about their age difference, but Sofia doesn’t care,” a source recently dished to Celebuzz!. “They just click and that’s all that matters.”
