Vanderpump Rules Exes James Kennedy & Kristen Doute Find Themselves At The Center Of An Alleged Cheating Scandal! Recap HERE!

During Monday night's episode of Vanderpump Rules, exes James Kennedy and Kristen Doute found themselves at the center of an alleged cheating scandal. As both Kennedy and Doute are in VERY committed relationships, the accusations left them rightfully shook AF.

Both James and Kristen have VEHEMENTLY denied the alleged Mexican vacay hookup, so where did the rumors stem from?? Well, from serial cheater and pathological liar Jax Taylor, of course.
Okay, so for the last few episodes, the VPR gang have been down in Playa Del Carmen for Jax's birthday. For most of the trip, Jax was SLAMMED for wanting to take a publicity job and for not treating girlfriend Brittany Cartwright properly. After learning that Scheana Marie tried to set up Brittany with another SURver, it appears that he felt the need to stir shit far away from his front door.
We say this, because the Kennedy-Doute liaison gossip all started with Jax. After engaging in a tequila-fueled all-nighter, Kristen and James found themselves hanging out in the pool around 7:30 a.m. In a flashback, fans witnessed James admit to Kristen that a song he recently performed was written "when [they] were dating."
Clearly, Bravo is trying to set up a storyline that James still cares for Kristen. When are they gonna stop painting Kennedy as a cheater?? First there was the rumors involving Logan Noh. Then, the show tried to make it seem like James was in love with Lala Kent. Now they're trying to rehash Kristen and James' long over romance?? Smh.
Nonetheless, Jax was convinced that James and Kristen did something naughty, as some pillows were strategically laid out. Right, because that's hard evidence a sexual encounter occurred. *Eye roll*
On what he witnessed, Jax noted:
"I walked out this morning … Kristen is out in the pool area and James grabbed a bottle of tequila … Why, at 7:30 in the morning, would you be in a pool drinking with your ex-girlfriend? I'm not hungover, I know exactly what I saw."
Later on, Kennedy participated in a round of golf with Jax and pal Tom Sandoval. When confronted with the hookup allegations, a still drunk James spilled:
"Did I what? What did you just say? Hang out with Kristen? I mean, a little bit, but not really."
For some reason, James and Kristen's peers were left unconvinced. In a testimonial, Jax claimed that James totally admitted to the infidelity:
"He just full out confessed that he did this. He said, ‘Yes, so what? We hooked up.'"
As for James, he was adamant (both in a testimonial and in front of his friends) that NOTHING happened. While Kristen maintained her innocence, she did state that she didn't "totally remember last night." Lala, James' bestie and former romantic partner, even weighed in on the gossip:
"I believe something happened. Once the dick has entered one of your holes, it's easy for it to re-enter."
Sadly, Stassi Schroeder didn't even side with Kristen, as she highlighted that Doute previously cheated on current boyfriend Brian Carter with James. To be fair, the cheating DID occur in the early stages of their romance.

Regardless, Kristen and James are maintaining nothing happened. Lisa Vanderpump's ex waitress even showed the following text as evidence of her innocence:
"People are starting fake drama for the show and I'm over it. You have a boyfriend, I have my girl, like, I would fucking never and I know you wouldn't either obviously! So cut the shit and don't be mad at me."
Well, well!
Still, in typical VPR fashion, the episode ended on a dramatic note — Kristen dumped a drink on James when he called her an "attention seeker." DAMNNNNN.
