Lady Gaga Didn't Lip Sync at the Super Bowl—And Here's Proof
Love her or hate her, there's no denying that Lady Gaga is quite the entertainer.
Justin Timberlake was the headlining star at this year’s Super Bowl halftime performance, but a 13-year-old boy was the one who stole the show.
Now dubbed the “Selfie Kid,” Ryan McKenna became an overnight internet sensation when caught one camera glued to his phone when the “Filthy” singer was performing right next to him. Between his awkward dancing and his multiple attempts to take photos of JT during the set, the teenager instantly went viral and was forever immortalized as a meme.

“There was a Super Bowl halftime lady and she, like, said that we were in a special section,” Ryan explained during a Monday, Feb. 5, appearance on Good Morning America. “He just came up, and I just, like, jumped right in there with him. And he stopped right in our row so it was perfect.”
He continued, “I had a video going and my phone shut off. That’s why I was on my phone. And I love him, because he’s, like, my favorite singer, and I had to get the selfie with him … Immediately right after, my phone just exploded.”
“It was definitely a great opportunity,” the teen added. “This was insane, like this was crazy that I got to meet him and get a picture with him, because he’s awesome.”
