When asked what she's missing, Jones adds, "Knowing what you're doing." Ouch.
Quincy Jones may have just created some bad blood with Taylor Swift.
During an interview with GQ, the legendary producer — who has worked with artists like Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson and Tupac — apparently made a face "somewhere between disapproval and disdain" when the reporter asked about Swift's recent music.

When asked what is wrong with her music, Jones replied, "We need more songs, man. F-cking songs, not hooks."
The GQ interviewer tried to explain that many people around the world consider the 28-year-old "the greatest songwriter of our age," but Jones still wasn't buying it and literally LOLed.
His response: "Whatever crumbles your cookie."
"But they don't know, man," Jones said when the reporter pressed about her reputation as an amazing songwriter. "They don't know. I've come and gone through seven decades of this shit. Seen all that. Seen how that works. Ignorance is no thing."

When asked what Swift is missing, Jones elaborated: "Knowing what you're doing. You know what I mean? Since I was a little kid, I've always heard the people that don't wanna do the work. It takes work, man. The only place you find success before work is the dictionary, and that's alphabetical."
"Man, the song is the shit — that's what people don't realize," he added in his vague takedown of Swift. "A great song can make the worst singer in the world a star. A bad song can't be saved by three best singers in the world. I learned that 50 years ago."
