Say it ain’t so! Just a week after Selena Gomez made things Instagram official with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber, word has it the couple is taking a break.
Multiple sources tells E! News the pair are currently giving each other some space to work things out. Though they are not together at the moment, it seems their rekindled romance hasn’t exactly died out yet.
“They were having a lot of little disagreements recently and one fight in particular blew up and caused them to decide to ‘break up,’ however, they’ve been in contact the entire time and their feelings for each other have not changed,” an insider said.

However, according to another source, the two were already “having issues” prior to the break. “They both have expressed that they have been feeling overwhelmed with a lot of pressure that has come with their public relationship, and haven’t been seeing eye to eye on things,” an insider shared.

As Celebuzz! previously reported, Selena, 25, reconciled with Justin, 24, late last year following her split with The Weeknd. At the time, sources told us friends feared the “Wolves” singer would get hurt again given her tumultuous history with the Canadian crooner.
“Justin hasn’t always been that great to Selena, so there’s always worry that he’s going to break her heart again,” our informant revealed. “In the past, Selena took him back just to have things fall apart. He has a history of disappointing her and she’s been left devastated each time.”
Earlier this week, Justin raised speculations that his relationship with Selena was on the outs when he liked a sultry selfie of model Inanna Serkis that was taken more two weeks ago. The double-tap sparked rumors that Biebs — who was previously linked to Kourtney Kardashian and Hailey Baldwin — was on the rebound.
As for Selena, it’s rumored the Disney Channel alum is using this time to “mend” thing with mother Mandy Teefey. The mother-daughter duo reportedly had a falling out after Selena got back together with Justin.
