Scott Disick NOT “Devastated” Over Sofia Richie Split, Despite Claim

Scott Disick is not “devastated” over a split from Sofia Richie, despite a demonstrably false claim. Gossip Cop can help set the record straight. According to the couple themselves, they haven’t broken up, so there is nothing for him to be upset about.

But RadarOnline is alleging Disick and Richie’s relationship has “ended in disaster,” leaving him “devastated beyond belief.” In the wake of the reality star being pictured with his arms around another woman at a listening party for Kanye West’s new album, a so-called “source” quoted by the site claims Richie “confronted Scott when he returned, and she told him that she was done.” Since leaving his home, the outlet maintains the model is avoiding Disick and seeking refuge with her famous father, Lionel Richie.

“Scott has been contacting her nonstop and pleading with her to give him another chance. But she is not going to go there,” contends the website’s supposed tipster. The blog’s alleged snitch even adds, “Lionel won’t let Scott anywhere near his daughter.” But these statements are provably false.

Richie and Disick stepped out together on Monday for lunch at Nobu, after which they went grocery shopping together. That same day, TMZ reported the breakup rumors surrounding Disick and Richie were inaccurate. What’s more, though, is Disick himself has denied he and Richie split, pointedly writing in an Instagram story, “We had no idea we even broke up but thanks for thinking of us.”

And Richie seems to agree. On Tuesday, she shared a photo of herself kissing Disick on Instagram, along with the caption, “Whole [heart].” In a subsequent post, she wrote, “Never believe the internet.” Even People, one of the publications that seemed to jump the gun in reporting they split, is now acknowledging that Richie and Disick’s relationship wasn’t actually “over.”

Conclusion: RadarOnline claims Richie dumped Disick and is refusing to give him “another chance,” while her dad won’t let him “anywhere near” her. As a result, he is described as “devastated.” But on the very same day this narrative was published, Richie and Disick went out in public together. Additionally, he made clear via Instagram that there wasn’t a breakup, and she used her own account to show the world they are still in a romance. While the May-December pair may not go the distance, it’s clear that right now they’re still united and Disick, therefore, has nothing to be upset about. As such, this report is obviously false and merits a zero on our rumor meter.
