Scarlett Johansson Sick Of Colin Jost’s Obsession With March Madness?

Is Scarlett Johansson sick of Colin Jost’s supposed obsession with March Madness? One of this week’s tabloids claims the actress is tired of her boyfriend focusing all of his attention on basketball. Gossip Cop looked into the situation and we can exclusively set the record straight.

According to Star, the “Saturday Night Live” cast member has had no time for his girlfriend this month because he’s busy watching the March Madness games. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “At first she joked about being an NBA widow, but Colin’s parked in front of the TV for hours and it’s starting to driver her nuts.”

The outlet’s questionable insider adds, “She’s used to being the center of attention and Colin was very attentive at the beginning. Now, Scarlett has to wait 20 minutes for the game to end before they can even go to dinner.” Gossip Cop, however, is exclusively told by an “SNL” insider that Jost isn’t consumed with March Madness. Simply put, the comedian’s girlfriend isn’t upset by an obsession he doesn’t actually have.

It’s possible this story was concocted because Jost was photographed at a New York Knicks game in December. However, the “Weekend Update” anchor attended the game with several of his “SNL” colleagues, so it’s likely the group decided to go on a social outing during their downtime from the show. Regardless, Jost hasn’t been snubbing Johansson to watch basketball.

It’s also worth noting, Star is very unreliable when it comes to accurately reporting about the couple’s relationship. Last October, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely claiming that Jost was planning to propose to Johansson. A few weeks later, the magazine’s sister publication, the National Enquirer, maintained that Johansson and Jost were “rushing to the altar.” Now several months later, the two aren’t engaged, let alone married.

Meanwhile, RadarOnline recently made up a bogus story about Jost being a secret “party animal” who’s hiding his wild past from Johansson. It’s becoming apparent that the gossip media has very little insight into the couple’s romance. This latest article about March Madness coming in between the pair is more nonsense.
