"I actually never responded," the "Sex and the City" star says after Kim Cattrall has been publicly slamming her.
Sarah Jessica Parker said there is no feud after Kim Cattrall told Piers Morgan that she had a "toxic relationship" with her "Sex and the City" co-stars because she's the only one talking.
"I never talked about it, except [to say] that some of us were disappointed [about the movie not happening]," Parker told People Magazine. "But I never responded to the conversation Kim had with Piers Morgan, where she said things that were really hurtful about me."

"We had this experience and it was amazing, and nothing will ever be like it," she added. "We had a connection with an audience, and we had a connection with the city and with this crew, and we got to tell these crazy stories with each other so I don't want to mess with that."
"I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing that part. So there was no fight, it was completely fabricated because I actually never responded," she concluded. "And I won't because she needed to say what she needed to say and that is her privilege."
The drama started last September when SJP confirmed that the possibility of a third movie was dead. Reports subsequently emerged claiming it was actually Cattrall's "outrageous demands" and lack of interest that held up the project.
Cattrall later openly admitted to Morgan that she didn't have any desire to make another "Sex and the City" movie, but denied her "demands" had anything to do with production shutting down.
"Now at this very moment it's quite extraordinary to get any kind of negative press about something that I've been saying for almost a year of 'no' that I'm demanding or a diva," Cattrall said. "And this is really where I take to task the people from 'Sex and the City,' and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, in that I think she could have been nicer."

Cattrall also put her co-star on blast over the weekend for expressing private and public condolences after Cattrall's 55-year-old brother went missing and was later found dead.
"My mom asked me today, 'When will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now," Cattrall captioned her Instagram post on Saturday.
"Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already). You are not my family. You are not my friend," Cattrall continued. "So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."
The PEOPLE interview with Parker was done prior those comments.
SJP is echoing the sentiments of Bravo star Andy Cohen, who described the beef playing out through the media and social media as "a cat fight of one."
"The only thing she's ever commented about the movie or about Kim not wanting to do the movie was that she was disappointed that the studio pulled the plug on it," Cohen said on his radio show Monday. "I don't get it. It's a cat fight of one, from where I see it."
