Roseanne Barr Got Dropped By Her Talent Agency Too

Even though a stream of chunky fucked-up shit has spewed out of Roseanne Barr’s Twitter hole for years, ABC still brought her back to star in the revival of Roseanne, which turned out to be a big hit for them and got renewed for a second season. Roseanne Barr was back!!! All she really had to do was not say anything racist on Twitter, but she just couldn’t help herself, and ABC shit-canned Jabba the Trump’s second favorite comedy after Fox & Friends. Well, if the KKK wants to book Roseanne as headliner of their annual KKKomedy Festival, they’re going to have to go directly through her, because her talent agency has also announced that they’re done with her.

Before today, Roseanne was represented by ICM. But after she called former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett half-ape, and was dropped by Mickey Mouse for pulling a Roseanne, the higher-ups at ICM announced that they’re also breaking up with her. via The Hollywood Reporter

“We are all greatly distressed by the disgraceful and unacceptable tweet from Roseanne Barr this morning. What she wrote is antithetical to our core values, both as individuals and as an agency. Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her. Effective immediately, Roseanne Barr is no longer a client.”

I think what they meant to say is: “We were fine with the disgraceful and unacceptable tweets that Roseanne Barr has made for years, but she has gone too far and messed with our core value of making that MONAY by losing her cash cow of a show. Consequently, we have notified her that we will not represent her… unless she’s able to get an eight-figure deal to play fellow fallen bigot Paula Deen in a big-screen biopic called Deep Fried Tears: The Unfair Fall Of ‘Murica’s Butter Queen.

On top of not having an agent anymore, Roseanne is also down a regular residual check, because Viacom has pulled episodes of the original Roseanne from their cable channels, including CMT, until further notice.

Since ABC announced that Roseanne has been canceled, several of the show’s stars have come out to say how sad they are about what she said:

This is incredibly sad and difficult for all of us, as we’ve created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love— one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member.

As I called my manager to quit working on Roseanne, I was told it was cancelled. I feel so empowered by @iamwandasykes , Channing Dungey and anyone at ABC standing up for morals and abuse of power. Bullies will NEVER win.

well, there's only one person to blame. https://t.co/q0nq72089h

Rita Moreno wasn’t on Roseanne, but I’m putting her thoughts here, because Rita Moreno always deserves the last word.

@therealroseanne, you break my heart — You are a sorry excuse for a human being. How odd that you, as a comedienne, have forgotten then meaning of a "joke" and a personal comment. Your meanness is staggering and will earn you a ticket to a sad, lonely and sorry life.

Because of Roseanne’s tweet, many people lost a job. ABC didn’t need to trash the whole show. They should’ve just fired Roseanne, and retooled the show to focus on the real star: Crystal and her new job as a Methodist preacher who travels though the streets of Lanford helping meth addicts. Crystal METHodist would be such a giant show that Nielsen would need a much bigger database to handle all those ratings!
