Directioners were put on high alert today when the official One Direction VEVO account seemingly randomly uploaded a video to the account after two years of inactivity.
Fans were sent a notification that the account had just uploaded a clip of the group’s BRIT Awards performance of “One Way or Another,” which originally aired on Feb. 20th, 2013.
ITS 2018 AND THE ONE DIRECTION VEVO ACCOUNT DECIDED TO POST A VIDEO FROM 2013?!?!? WTF IM TOO YOUNG TO BE HURT LIKE THIS pic.twitter.com/sFLAlvZQEE

The video was later deleted, leaving fans more confused than ever.
The random upload isn’t the only thing that has been keeping Directioners on their toes these days! The group’s official social media accounts, which have been mostly inactive since their hiatus began in 2016, have been coming back to life with activity.
In December, their Instagram account liked a throwback post of the group in their early days that featured all the original members: Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles.

More recently, Niall had fans in frenzy when he started a perfectly harmless tweet about golf with with the words “we are back.”

If you turned off your notifications for the band’s accounts, now might be a good time to switch them back on. You never know what could pop up next, although each of the guys seem super happy with their solo endeavors for now!
