Amber Rose Is Team Kanye West in the Taylor Swift 'Famous' Feud
Sorry, Taylor Swift.
Kim Kardashian better watch her back. It looks like Taylor Swift is trying to recruit yet another member into her squad.
The “28-year-old singer recently surprised Kardashian frenemy Amber Rose and her son, Sebastian, with tickets to her upcoming Reputation Tour.
Amber, 34, shared an adorable video of her 5-year-old child opening the present. In a cute Instagram video, little Bash geeked out as he tore open personalized gift box filled with goodies any Swifties would kill for — including a CD, VIP passes, and a letter from the “Delicate” hitmaker herself.
“This is going to be so exciting!” he gushed. “Oh, my God, she sent me a letter!”
In a second video, the young boy expressed his disbelief over the care package, “Are these the tickets? … Taylor sent me these?!”
We first cuaght wind of Bash’s love of Taylor when back in October when his mom shared a video of him singing along to “Look What You Made Me Do.” At the time, Amber captioned the Instagram post, “He loves him some @taylorswift.”
Maybe this is Tay’s way of extending an olive branch? In the past, Amber sided with ex-boyfriend Kanye West during his highly publicized spat with the 28-year-old songstress. When Team Kardashian-West revealed Taylor — who had previously settled her beef with the rapper prior to the release of “Famous” — had given the greenlight to use her name on the controversial single, Amber backed up the claim by telling fans that Kanye never risk reigniting the feud again by writing a diss track after that infamous incident at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
“I’m not the biggest fan of Kanye,” she admitted. “But I will say this: I was next to him at the VMAs that year and … I remember the repercussions after that.”
“He was so remorseful,” she continued. “He really went though a lot of bullsh*t, and I know that Kanye would never, ever go through that again by not calling Taylor and saying, ‘Heads up, I’m about to kinda go write this verse real quick. Just wanna make sure you’re cool with it.’ I know that about Kanye.”
Clearly, Taylor is cool with Amber though.
