Mamby on the Beach: Chicago’s Only Beachside Summer Music Festival

Mamby On The Beach, Chicago’s only summer beach music festival, is an annual favorite… so I was super stoked to see their upcoming lineup for 2018! Common, Spoon, Grizzly Bear, Russ, Cold War Kids, Tune-Yards and St. Lucia are atop the bill for the June festival. Gorgon City, Oh Wonder, Duke Dumont, AJR and Roy Wood$ are among the other acts confirmed. The festival will take place on June 23 and 24, 2018 on the coastline of Oakwood Beach and it promises to be a majestic experience unlike anything else in the city.

The goal of Mamby extends beyond curating a unique lineup of bands, djs, performers and artists, as it strives to preserve and celebrate the rich musical history history of Chicago while immersing concertgoers in the its unparalleled beauty and summertime sensations. For attendees who want to take a dip in the lake, a barefoot stroll through the sand, or a musical romp alongside the festival’s exhilarated fans, Mamby provides the perfect, sun-soaked getaway.
