Kylie Jenner is not “ready to move on” from Travis Scott, despite a new report. Though this story claims the couple is on the verge of a “post-baby split,” several of its allegations are contradictory and inaccurate. Gossip Cop can bust it and explain how we determined the article to be false.

According to RadarOnline, fans shouldn’t “expect displays of love” from Jenner and Scott because their relationship is turning sour. A so-called “source” alleges the new mom is “feeling totally smothered” by Scott, who has been “overbearing and trying to control her entire life.” The site’s supposed snitch contends the rapper “doesn’t give her any freedom,” and tells Jenner “what she can wear and where she can go.”

But then blog cites an “insider,” who asserts Scott “feels like he’s not getting to have his say in anything anymore.” This directly contradicts the website’s “source,” who said the performer was in “control.” So, which is it? Is Scott “overbearing” or “not getting to have his say”? Both can’t be true. And those aren’t the only problems with this narrative.

The contention that Scott doesn’t give his girlfriend “any freedom” is patently false. Just days ago, Jenner was in San Francisco without him. This week, she was seen out to lunch in Malibu, also without him. Clearly, she’s free to come and go as she pleases. The outlet is also wrong about not seeing “displays of love” from the pair. When the couple went to Turks and Caicos a few weeks ago to celebrate Scott’s birthday, Jenner posted on Instagram a photo of him holding her in his arms. Days later, Jenner and Scott made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala, where they were photographed kissing and holding hands (see photo above).

Around the same time, multiple reliable publications reported how well their relationship was going. People, for example, noted how daughter Stormi “changed their relationship for the better.” Stressed the credible magazine about Jenner, “Her relationship with Travis couldn’t be stronger.” Meanwhile, E! Online, whose TV network is the home of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” deemed Jenner and Scott “stronger than ever.” Confirmed the outlet, “Kylie and Travis are currently in the best place they have ever been in their relationship.” And just last week, Us Weekly also reported how Stormi brought Jenner and Scott closer together, writing, “[They are] genuinely so happy… They’re doing really well as a couple.”

Yet here is RadarOnline maintaining they are about to “split,” even though its “source” and “insider” can’t agree on what the purported issues are between them. It should also be noted that this same site falsely claimed Scott dumped Jenner last December, and in March, wrongly alleged they were going to elope in a “top-secret wedding.” As the blog keeps waffling between these extremes, the truth actually lies in the middle: Gossip Cop hears Jenner and Scott are currently very happy together, but not making long-term plans for the future besides raising their baby girl.

In sum, the website is running contradictory information that is also inconsistent with its past stories. Several of its allegations, such as Jenner not having “freedom” and the couple not showing “displays of love,” are demonstrably wrong. And far more trustworthy publications have already reported that she and Scott are doing well for now, which Gossip Cop’s own Kardashian-Jenner contacts echo. As a result, we conclude that this story about the two moving on and splitting is false.
