Kim Kardashian Wants Surrogate To Have Triplets For Kanye West’s Birthday?

A bizarre tabloid report claims Kim Kardashian wants her surrogate to become pregnant with triplets as a birthday gift for Kanye West. Gossip Cop can bust this story. Kardashian’s own comments prove the allegation is wrong.

The piece in question can be found in the pages of Closer, under the headline, “Kim: ‘Surprising Kanye With Triplet News Will Save Our Marriage.'” Of course, Kardashian never actually uttered such a quote. It’s completely fabricated. But according to the accompanying article, the mom of three is “keen to set the wheels in motion for her next surrogacy,” and wants to “complete her family with triplets.”

The tabloid goes on to contend Kardashian is “determined to surprise” West “on his 41st birthday” on June 8 “with the news that their surrogate is ready to get pregnant again.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “Kim’s been racking her brains over what to give Kanye for his birthday, and she says that giving him more children would be the best present he could ever wish for.” In the wake of the rapper’s recent controversies, the supposed snitch asserts Kardashian believes “the best thing for him is to focus on family, and what better way than celebrating baby news?”

The outlet’s alleged tipster goes on to claim Kardashian’s surrogate, who gave birth to baby Chicago in January, will “be implanted with three embryos to maximize their chances” of conceiving again. The purported snitch even maintains West previously “laughed when Kim suggested triplets, but she knows he’s always wanted a big family… so she’s sure he’ll be ecstatic with her decision.” Presumably since that sounds completely crazy, the questionable “source” adds that Kardashian’s sisters Kourtney and Khloe “have warned her that it could backfire, given that it’s such a big step to take without discussing it properly with Kanye.”

That’s one reason this tale comes off as far-fetched, as it’s hard to believe Kardashian would really want to make such an important decision on her own and then “surprise” West “with the news that that their brood could be about to double in size.” But the other reason fans shouldn’t buy this narrative is because it goes against what the reality star herself has said. In March, for example, Kardashian explained in her Elle cover story that she doesn’t want more than four kids.

“I don’t think I could handle more than that. My time is spread really thin,” she told the magazine. Similarly, less than a month ago Kardashian spoke about going the surrogacy route on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” where she said, “I would have maybe one more.” Lastly, it should be noted that the notion Kardashian wants more kids to “save” her marriage is reminiscent of a debunked tabloid story from January, in which it was alleged she was “discussing surrogate options for another baby, or better yet, twins.”

Conclusion: Closer wants readers to believe Kardashian plans to “surprise” West on his birthday with the news that their surrogate will have triplets for them. But while the magazine relies entirely on an unidentifiable and untraceable anonymous “source,” Kardashian herself is on record at least twice saying that she would only want to add one more child to their family and doesn’t want more than four kids. Obviously, there’s a substantial difference between that and triplets, which would give them six children in all. As such, it’s apparent this story is false, just as it was false earlier this year when it was claimed Kardashian wanted twins.
