Is Kim Kardashian filing to divorce Kanye West? That’s what a new tabloid cover story wants readers to believe. But Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the report. A rep for the reality star tells us it’s “false.”

The new cover of NW exclaims, “Kim Files For Divorce!” This is actually a bait-and-switch, as the article inside the issue acknowledges that she’s yet to actually file a divorce petition. Still, the gossip magazine contends Kardashian is “officially done keeping up” with West’s “erratic ways.” It’s specifically alleged that “not only has she had updated divorce papers drawn up, but she’s already signed on the dotted line.”

“Kim isn’t messing around this time. All that’s left to do is hand them over to her husband,” a so-called “family friend” is quoted as saying. Unsurprisingly, it’s claimed Kardashian is calling it quits over the controversial tweets West has been sending, including photos of their home. “She’s furious at Kanye and [that’s] just another reason why she’s done,” alleges an “insider” for the outlet, who goes on to assert, “After everything that happened with her Paris robbery she can’t believe he’d be so careless with their safety.”

And after helping West through his mental breakdown in 2016, “she can’t go through it all a second time,” maintains the publication. But at the end of the article, the tabloid starts to back away from the notion that Kardashian will actually file to dissolve their marriage. “There’s one thing that’s prevented Kim from slapping Kanye with her signed divorce papers,” alleges the magazine, referring to his “obviously fragile mental state.” The outlet adds that “the only thing Kanye can do to stop Kim [from] eventually pushing ahead with the divorce is to seek medical help before he’s forced to.”

Actually, the real reason Kardashian isn’t filing for divorce is because she doesn’t want to break up with the rapper. On the contrary, she’s already looking ahead to their upcoming anniversary and his birthday. In fact, Kardashian just spoke about both milestones on Monday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” As for the “KUWTK” star being upset about his social media messages, Kardashian actually posted on Twitter on Monday, “Twitter is such a bette[r] place with @kanyewest on here.”

Additionally, People also recently reported that although West’s behavior can sometimes “drain” Kardashian, “overall there’s no major strain between the couple.” Gossip Cop hears the same, and we’re further told on the record by Kardashian’s spokesperson that this tabloid cover story about Kardashian filing for divorce is “false.” Notably, this untrue report about an impending split comes just a few weeks after the magazine manufactured an article about Kardashian and West being “back on track.” NW clearly can’t keep its narratives straight and isn’t a credible publication.
