Kim Cattrall Lashes Out at Sarah Jessica Parker After Brother's Death: 'You Are Not My Friend'

"Stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona," the actress says.

Kim Cattrall doesn't want Sarah Jessica Parker's love or support after her 55-year-old brother unexpectedly passed away last Sunday.

"My mom asked me today, 'When will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now," Cattrall captioned her Instagram post on Saturday.

"Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already). You are not my family. You are not my friend," Cattrall continued. "So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."

The 61-year-old actress also included a link to a New York Post story that explained the mean girl culture surrounding the "Sex and the City" franchise.

Cattrall's outrage comes after SJP commented on her Instagram post that announced her brother unexpectedly passed.

"Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspped to your beloved brother. Xx," SJP said.

This isn't the first time the duo have publicly fought. In fact, this is just the next event in a series of a whole lot of drama that has been occurring since late September when SJP confirmed the chance of a third movie was dead. Reports subsequently emerged claiming Cattrall's "outrageous demands" and lack of interest were at fault for holding up the project.

Cattrall later openly admitted on Twitter that she didn't have any desire to make another "Sex and the City" movie, but denied her "demands" had anything to do with production shutting down.

"Now at this very moment it's quite extraordinary to get any kind of negative press about something that I've been saying for almost a year of 'no' that I'm demanding or a diva," Cattrall said. "And this is really where I take to task the people from 'Sex and the City,' and specifically Sarah Jessica Parker, in that I think she could have been nicer."
