Tristan Thompson is more than just the guy who cheated on Khloe Kardashian while she was pregnant; he's also a professional basketball player. And as of Sunday afternoon, he's a world-class player again, with his name dominating Twitter.

But while many NBA fans were simply praising his performance on the court, just as many were throwing shade over his cheating scandal.

With more than 75,000 tweets in just a few hours, many skipped talking about the Kardashians altogether and rather marveled at his rejuvenated prowess in the game, comparing it to his 2016 season. Thompson came out to start in Game 7 of the playoff game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Indiana Pacers on Sunday, which caught many of his fans by surprise.
