Kanye West Left Kim Kardashian?

Kanye West has left Kim Kardashian, according to a completely wrong and provably false story. While a tabloid is claiming the reality star has been “dumped,” the couple is actually very much still together. Gossip Cop can debunk the report.

The latest issue of OK! Australia features the headline, “Poor Kim: ‘Kanye Left Me.'” But Kardashian never really uttered such a statement. In fact, much of this article is actually plagiarized from another gossip magazine, which has been spreading untrue claims about the couple being on the verge of a split. Earlier this month, Star peddled a fabricated tale about Kardashian threatening to take their kids away from West if he didn’t “man up to his daddy duties.” Some of the fictional quotes from that piece now appear in this article without any attribution to the original source, and without acknowledgment that those assertions were already debunked.

In one instance, the OK! article cites a purported “pal” as claiming, “Kim has her hands full with the [new] baby and was really counting on Kanye to be here, but he’s MIA as usual.” That originally appeared, however, in the aforementioned Star story. Similarly, this report ends with an alleged “insider” contending, “Life with Kanye has been difficult, to say the least, and Kim has reached her limit.” But that line is actually from another Star story that was published more than two weeks ago. Gossip Cop actually busted it at the time, too.

Interestingly, though, in neither case did Star allege West had “left” his wife and that Kardashian had been “dumped.” Those specific contentions are unique to OK!, and they are demonstrably wrong. Just last week, Kardashian and West were photographed together at his studio office. More recently, on Saturday, Kardashian and West attended the March For Our Lives protest in Washington, D.C., together, as People and a number of reputable outlets reported.

The stars are pictured together above at the event. Kardashian also shared on Twitter a photo of West and their daughter North from the proteset, writing, “I’m so happy I got to share this moment with these two.” Obviously, she and the rapper are still a couple. It’s also clear that OK! has a transparent modus operandi when it comes to its erroneous stories about the pair. As Gossip Cop has pointed out here, the tabloid copied untrue claims from elsewhere and tried passing them off as their own. It also added in easily debunked allegations.

Well, the magazine did the same thing back in January, when it falsely claimed Kardashian and West were hoping baby Chicago and more kids would save their marriage. That, too, featured plagiarized quotes and allegations that were exposed as verifiably untrue. Gossip Cop is fully aware of the publication’s shady tricks and readers should be, too.
