Justin Theroux Cheated On Jennifer Aniston With Petra Collins?

Did Justin Theroux cheat on Jennifer Aniston with Petra Collins? That’s the latest rumor gaining steam in the wake of the couple’s separation. But Gossip Cop can reveal reps deny any affair took place. A spokesperson for Collins even tells us exclusively that the claims are “definitely not true.”

According to Star, it was Theroux’s “relationship with a young, sexy ‘other woman’ that destroyed” his marriage to Aniston. That woman is said to be Collins, a photographer and artist. A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Justin and Petra have been carrying on for some time. He insists that they’re just ‘friends,’ but he seems obsessed with her, and Jen isn’t buying it.” Aniston is described as “heartbroken and humiliated.”

The supposed source goes on to claim to the tabloid that Theroux and Collins “hit it off right away” after meeting through the New York art scene, and since then, have “gone out on cozy dinner dates… They’ve actually been pretty brazen.” Curiously, though, Theroux and Collins have never been seen together on a date, even though the actor is regularly photographed when he goes out in public. Still, the gossip magazine points out that Theroux tagged Collins in an Instagram post a week before his separation from Aniston was announced.

“Jen was embarrassed and appalled that Justin would flaunt his new relationship in this way,” contends the alleged tipster, while the outlet further asserts, “Jen and Justin’s friends are horrified by this liaison.” There is no disputing Theroux and Collins have developed a friendship. She even photographed him for L’Uomo Vogue last year. But reps for both Theroux and Collins deny they have been engaged in a romantic relationship. Her spokesperson maintains to Gossip Cop that such allegations are “definitely not true.”

Furthermore, sources have previously indicated that Aniston and Theroux did not cheat on each other, with no third party contributing to their breakup. Of course, that hasn’t stopped the gossip media from running infidelity stories like this one. Since their split was announced a few weeks ago, Theroux has been linked, albeit wrongly, to everyone from Naomi Watts to Selena Gomez, and even Angelina Jolie, among others.

Gossip Cop would also be remiss not to point out the bevy of falsehoods Star has spread about Aniston and Theroux in the last year alone. In February 2017, more than a year ago now, the publication insisted Aniston was pregnant and expecting their first child. In August, six months before the couple actually announced their separation, the magazine falsely claimed they were on the brink of a “$400 million divorce” because of alleged fallout from a death that occurred around the time of their honeymoon in 2015. And then in January, the outlet ridiculously claimed Aniston was planning a “reunion” with Brad Pitt behind Theroux’s back, with the article implying an affair was in the works.

All three of these cover stories were bogus, and they go to show just how off-base the publication’s purported “insiders” have been. There is an obvious desperation to create scandal whenever possible. Currently, that seems to mean tying Theroux to other women. Eventually, he will likely move on and date someone, maybe even Collins. But for now, it seems things are platonic.
