John Cena Still Wants to Have Kids with Ex Nikki Bella, But What Does She Think?

John Cena still has hope he can work things out with ex Nikki Bella.

The wrestler-turned-actor appeared on the Today show Monday, May 14, to spill his guts over his recent breakup. While speaking about his broken engagement and scrapped wedding, the 41-year-old admitted he still has feelings for Nikki, 34.

“I still love Nicole, I still would love to marry Nicole, I still would love to have a family with Nicole,” he said, explaining he had “heart broken out of nowhere” when the two called it quits in April. “There was an unfortunate set of circumstances where our relationship ended.”

“I don’t want anybody else,” he continued. “I love Nicole and I’m really trying to support her in her trying to find whatever it is she wants that made this fall apart in the first place.”

However, when asked about her former fiancé’s candid on-camera confession the same day, Nikki was admittedly taken back by the remarks. “Wow, well, I’m speechless. Um, yeah, that’s crazy. Yeah,” she told Extra just hours after John’s heart-wrenching interview when she made an appearance at the NBCUniversal Upfront Presentation in New York City.

“I didn’t think cold feet and all of that type of stuff existed, but it exists,” she elaborated. “I have hope and I’m just at a point in my life where I feel like I kind’ve lost me, and I want to find me and work on me.”

Nikki also told Entertainment Tonight, “John is such an amazing man. He really is the love of my life.”

“I truly hope one day that we can work it out and get back together,” the Total Bellas star added. “I think there is hope.”
