As you surely saw, on Easter Sunday, NBC tackled one of Andrew Lloyd Webber's most iconic musicals. And, no, we aren't talking about Cats.

Instead, in honor of the Christian holiday, the network chose to do a live musical special about Jesus Christ's last days on Earth. With John Legend cast as the titular role and Sara Bareilles tapped to play Mary Magdalene, we knew NUMEROUS people would tune in to watch this spectacular unfold.
Although the TV event was highly anticipated, here's what Twitter had to say about the musical special (below)…
Look at us all, watching a musical together.
What a joy.
Thanks @OfficialALW. Thanks @SirTimRice

John is using not falsetto but a light head voice and now straight into that deep textured chest, that’s what known as range. #JesusChristSuperstarLive

Tuned into #JesusChristSuperstar late, but got to hear @SaraBareilles wrap her gorgeous voice around "I Don’t Know How to Love Him." She sure knows how to activate my tear glands!

1- #JesusChristSuperstarLive was the best live tv musical yet.
2- anyone who was offended by how it was done doesn’t really get was Jesus was doing in the first place.
3- Superstar is ALWebber’s best score.
4- Thank you @nbc for finally understanding that broadway gets it DONE.

Of course, being Legend's supportive wife and reigning Queen of Twitter, Chrissy Teigen live tweeted the entire concert (below). We ARE blessed.
I have a feeling whoever has the deepest V will be crucified
