Jennifer Aniston Pregnant With Brad Pitt’s Baby?
April 3, 2018(Woman’s Day)
Is Jennifer Aniston really pregnant with Brad Pitt’s baby? That’s the latest tabloid fiction to emerge about the former spouses. Gossip Cop can debunk this new cover story.
The cover of Woman’s Day Australia falsely announces, “Yes! Jen’s Pregnant!” The front of the issue features a photo of the actress with her stomach slightly protruding, but the gossip magazine fails to tell readers that this is a picture of Aniston at the We’re The Millers premiere in 2013. The outlet is using a snapshot from nearly five years ago to sell its lie.
Similarly, a years-old photo of Pitt talking on a phone is used inside the edition to support the made-up headline, “Brad’s Happy News: Jen’s Having A Baby!” According to the fabricated article, “Just months after secretly reigniting their romance,” the former couple is “expecting a much longed-for child.” It’s specifically claimed that “friends say the thrilling and surprising news that Jen is pregnant is the real reason the rekindled exes went public with their relationship so soon.” But Pitt and Aniston haven’t actually gone “public” with any kind of relationship.
A so-called “source close to the couple” deems this fake development a “complete miracle beyond their wildest dreams,” and contends Aniston has given up alcohol since she supposedly has a baby on board. “In the past two weeks the only social events she’s agreed to have been the non-boozy ones,” claims this invented insider. Such a contention is quite obviously untrue, considering Aniston just got back from a group trip to Tahiti. Alcohol was not banned from the vacation.
In another sign the publication is full of it, the report references already busted claims that George Clooney helped get Pitt and Aniston back together. Gossip Cop originally corrected those allegations weeks ago. And in a comment suspiciously similar to the “source” quote mentioned above about “their wildest dreams,” a purported “pal” is also quoted as telling the tabloid, “Brad and Jen just getting back together was the ultimate Hollywood fairytale. Add a baby to the mix and it’s beyond anyone’s wildest dreams.”
Then there’s another demonstrable factual error when the magazine maintains the supposed pregnancy “comes after the actor has faced a very difficult 18 months away from his children.” Pitt hasn’t spent “18 months away” from his kids. As “ET” reported about Pitt and his family just last week, while the brood lives full-time with Angelina Jolie, “they visit Brad at his house a few days a week.”
That’s followed by a curious inconsistency. After asserting above that Aniston and Pitt “went public” with their (nonexistent) “relationship” because she’s expecting, the outlet’s aforementioned “source” insists there hasn’t been a pregnancy announcement because “they want to enjoy the news on their own, and with their closest friends, before they share it with the world.” That’s a convenient excuse and cover-up for why there’s no official statement confirming there’s a baby on the way.
The actual reason there hasn’t been a pregnancy announcement is because Aniston isn’t pregnant. The one-time husband and wife aren’t even back together, as reps for both of the stars have repeatedly told Gossip Cop. The reputable publication People has also explained why an Aniston-Pitt reunion is “unlikely.” But the gossip media continues to ignore reality, as evident by this totally bogus cover story.
