Jennifer Aniston NOT Looking For “Much Younger Man” To Be Her “Next Lover,” Despite Claim

Jennifer Aniston is not looking for a “much younger man” to be her “next lover,” despite a report. Gossip Cop can bust this made-up story. We’re exclusively told it’s flat-out “ridiculous.”

The phony article comes from HollywoodLife, which claims to have “exclusive details on why” Aniston wouldn’t “mind being a ‘cougar’ in her next relationship” now that she’s “single and ready to mingle.” The site points out the actress has had “over a month to recover” from her split with Justin Theroux, and asserts she’s now “ready to hit the dating scene.” That said, the blog maintains the star doesn’t want to “settle down.”

Rather, a so-called “source close to Jennifer” supposedly tells the website that she “just would like to have fun” and not “take her next relationship that seriously.” Alleges the purported tipster, “She thinks if she was with a younger guy that she could achieve that because she feels a younger guy doesn’t want to settle down.” After stereotyping younger men, plenty of whom are ready for commitment, the outlet’s questionable insister goes to contend Aniston wants to find “someone in their early thirties.”

“She doesn’t mind being a cougar if need be because it’s all about the fun,” claims the supposed snitch. It all leads the online publication to deem Aniston’s alleged plans a “good idea,” since “after all, it’s worked just fine” for Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima. First off, it’s laughable to suggest that Aniston should embark on a May-December romance simply because Kardashian and Bendjima have been “dating for over a year.” Their relationship has no bearing on her life.

Second, the “Friends” star has been the older woman in a relationship before. John Mayer was roughly eight years Aniston’s junior when they dated about a decade ago. Considering their romance ultimately ended, it’s arguable that having a “younger man” didn’t work out so well for her before. And if HollywoodLies, as it’s nicknamed, actually had a real “source,” it would’ve known Aniston has already been down this road. Frankly, since the site purports to be knowledgeable about celebrities, it actually should’ve known this information regardless.

Third, Aniston is not about to “hit the dating scene.” She’s not “ready to mingle” just because approximately five weeks have gone by since Aniston and Theroux announced their separation. They were together for more than seven years. That is not a breakup you “recover” from in just “over a month.” Furthermore, as People has already reported, Aniston “isn’t a fan” of dating. While she’s hopeful for her future, she’s not exactly looking forward to putting herself back out there just yet. In any case, no one in her inner circle would actually be talking to the gossip media about her taking on a “lover.”

Lastly, Gossip Cop must point out that HollywoodLies is full of inconsistencies and contradictions, further proving it does not know what it’s talking about. As seen in the screengrabs below, it was less than a month ago that the blog was insisting Aniston had “[swore] off sex & dating.” Then a week ago, the website claimed that while she was in a “good place,” her love life was “taking a back seat” and the actress didn’t “have any eyes for a man right now.” But then came this tale about Aniston supposedly not only wanting to date, but also find a younger man. Yet mere hours later, the outlet picked up an already-debunked tabloid report about Aniston having “secret late-night meetings” with ex Brad Pitt.

So, which is it? Is Aniston done with dating or looking for a new guy? Is she searching for a younger man or reuniting with Pitt, who is more than five years older than her? It’s abundantly obvious by now that the publication doesn’t have a clue what’s actually going on and is just trying to capitalize on the ongoing interest people have in Aniston’s life. Gossip Cop also spoke with a rep, who exclusively tells us HollywoodLies’ latest take on the actress is “completely ridiculous” and made-up. That’s readily apparent.
