Jennifer Aniston Betrayed By Brad Pitt Again?

Was Jennifer Aniston really betrayed by Brad Pitt again? That’s the narrative being peddled by one of the tabloids. But Gossip Cop can debunk the story.

The front of the latest edition of Heat announces, “Brad Betrays Jen Again.” Inside the issue, a headline declares, “Jen’s Tears Over Brad’s New Lady: He’s Dating A Beautiful Genius… That’s Got To Hurt.” According to the article, Aniston and Pitt had “grown close” following her separation from Justin Theroux earlier this year, and she “thought it may be heading to something more serious.” The gossip magazine, however, asserts that “her hopes seemed to have been dashed” because Aniston has been “left reeling following the news that Brad’s got a new lady love.”

The outlet is referring to MIT professor Neri Oxman, and quotes a so-called “insider,” who alleges Pitt recently “cooled the communication” with Aniston, and “Jen now realizes this is when things between him and Neri were getting serious.” Contends this supposed source, “Of course she’s hurt.” The publication’s alleged tipster goes on to claim, “Jen was waiting for her and Brad’s divorces to be finalized and then she would see where things went from there, because they’ve really connected during the many communications that they’ve exchanged.”

“Now, though, it seems pretty legit that Brad and this woman are getting serious,” alleges the purported tipster, who adds, “This is a double blow after Justin was linked to two women so soon after their split. She feels like she’s been betrayed by of them.” But though the tabloid maintains Aniston “can’t help but feel let down by [Pitt] again” and is “having a hard time coming to terms with it,” the publication also contends she’s planning on “wiping away the tears and getting back in the ring.” Claims the specious snitch, “Her friends and management team are in the process of finding her dating options, so it’s just a matter of time.”

The problems here are plentiful. For starters, Theroux has been falsely linked to other women. As “Entertainment Tonight” reported last month, despite dating rumors Theroux is still “heartbroken” over his split from Aniston and hasn’t moved on to a romance with anyone else at this point. Similarly, Pitt is not in a romance either. Contrary to the claim here that he and Oxman are “getting serious,” People actually reported just last week that while Pitt is “happier” these days, “there hasn’t been any talk about a special someone” in his life. His spokesperson has also confirmed to Gossip Cop that he and Oxman are not dating.

As for the actor having “many communications” with his ex-wife, that’s untrue, too. In fact, when People explained recently why it’s highly unlikely Aniston and Pitt would reunite, it was specifically noted that “they aren’t in regular contact.” And on the subject of the actress “getting back in the ring,” the reputable magazine has also reported that Aniston “isn’t a fan of dating,” and is “not looking forward” to it.

On top of all that, reps for both Pitt and Aniston have individually told Gossip Cop on multiple occasions that they are not on the verge of reconciling. Given all of these substantial points countering the contentions, it’s evident that Aniston has no reason to feel “betrayed” and it makes no sense to run such a claim. This narrative is entirely fake.
