Jenna Dewan ‘Troubled’ By Channing Tatum’s Success

Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan broke America’s heart this week when they announced their split after nine years of marriage.

What went wrong for the couple?

According to a Page Six source, the same thing that goes wrong with every celebrity couple: one party just got too big.

“She is troubled by his success. He was turning down jobs because of her, and they were fighting a lot. He has been filming the ‘Lego Movie’ sequel and has at least four other acting projects in development, and that isn’t even his focus. He’s moving toward producing and directing.

“Jenna always said they had to put work into their marriage to keep it alive, and while Channing is a great dad to their daughter, [Jenna] felt like he stopped wanting to work as hard on them as a married couple. This has been a long time coming. They fell out of love.”

The report goes on to state that the two have been separated for months. Dewan was spotted at the Oscars without Tatum, claiming it was “girls’ night.” Tatum has been living at their ranch in Ojai while Dewan was living at their Beverly Hills home.

They follow in the footsteps of Chris Pratt and Anna Faris, who also “fell out of love” because Pratt was turning into a huge star.

Equality, ladies.

In 2015, Tatum told PEOPLE that he wish he could slow down and that he was having trouble juggling acting and personal life.

“None of this is easy, but at the same time it’s everything I would have ever wanted to do. I really like challenge but I would like things to get a little slower; that would be nice. I wish I could slow down slightly. But I have no other option; I can’t not live in the moment.”

Since 2015, Tatum has ten acting credits to hit name on IMDB with another six upcoming. Throw in five producer credits (with two more coming) and it’s obvious that Tatum hasn’t slowed down. Dewan has three acting credits to her name in that time, though she did just finish shooting Berlin, I Love You.

All I know is Tatum is about to be swimming in women these next couple of months.
