Jason Bateman’s Wife Sick Of Jennifer Aniston Leaning On Him Following Justin Theroux Split?

Jason Bateman’s wife Amanda Anka is not getting sick of Jennifer Aniston leaning on her husband following her split from Justin Theroux, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s completely made-up.

In the wake of Aniston’s separation last month, the actress has spent a lot of time with Bateman, her longtime friend and frequent co-star. Aniston even made her first post-split appearance at the premiere of the actor’s new movie Game Night. According to OK!, however, his wife isn’t happy about Aniston’s constant company.

A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Jen has always been clingy with Jason, but more so as her marital problems ballooned.” The alleged insider goes on to say that Anka is bothered by the actress’s supposed “late-night phone calls, endless texts and overnight stays.” The questionable tipster notes that Bateman’s wife isn’t worried about Aniston pursuing her husband, but “she still feels the amount of time Jen wants to spend with him seems inappropriate given he’s a married father with kids.”

But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s story is complete nonsense. For starters, Aniston is close friends with Anka as well. The two recently posed for a photo together while celebrating the 40th birthday of Jimmy Kimmel’s wife Molly McNearney. Regardless, we’re told Bateman’s wife isn’t upset about him supporting his friend as she goes through a divorce. This is a non-story.

It’s worth noting, this isn’t the first time a tabloid has attempted to create drama out of Aniston and Bateman’s friendship. Prior to Aniston and Theroux’s breakup, the actor was spotted shopping with Anka in Los Angeles. In Touch then falsely claimed the actress was “livid” about her husband hanging out with Bateman’s wife. Of course, that assertion was ridiculous. In fact, Aniston and Theroux vacationed in Mexico with Bateman and his wife this past December. The newly estranged spouses clearly had a good relationship with the pair during their marriage.

Unfortunately, the tabloids have been arbitrarily dragging Aniston and Theroux’s famous friends into the fold following their split. Courteney Cox, Emma Stone, Will Arnett and Selena Gomez are just a few of their celebrity pals who’ve been roped into the narrative in one way or another. This latest article involving Bateman is similarly bogus.
