Jason Aldean Having Marriage Problems?

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany are not having marriage problems, despite a completely inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. A rep for the country star says it’s simply false.

“Jason Puts His Marriage In The Rearview?” reads a headline in the latest issue of Star. The accompanying article says that during Aldean’s concert at the Opry City Stage in New York City last month, he told the crowd he had no plans to collaborate with his wife, who’s a former “American Idol” contestant. “He said it in a mean dismissive way,” a so-called “attendee” tells the magazine. “I wouldn’t want my husband talking about me like that.”

There’s no proof the country star made such a statement, but even if he did, Aldean has already explained why he hasn’t recorded with his wife. The musician previously told the Star Tribune, “I don’t know if she wants any part of the music business anymore. She’s a great singer… but I don’t know if she cares to pursue it as a career.” The magazine is making it seems as if Aldean told a bunch of concertgoers he refuses to work with his wife, but that’s clearly not the case.

Also, the unreliable outlet doesn’t have a single source to back up its article. Instead, the publication theorizes Aldean’s relationship might be in trouble over a comment he supposedly made during a concert. This is all purely speculative and baseless, but the country star’s own spokesperson states on the record that he’s happily married.

In fact, Aldean and his wife’s Instagram pages prove how strong their marriage is. Last month, Brittany posted a photo of her and her husband spending the weekend together in Florida, along with the caption, “celebrating a whole lotta love.” Shortly before that, Aldean’s wife posted a photo of the two on the red carpet at the ACM Awards, where the musician won Entertainer of the Year. She added the caption, “It doesn’t get much better than this, babe… CONGRATS MY LOVE!!!”

Meanwhile, Aldean paid tribute to his wife in March with an Instagram post celebrating three years of marriage. “Happy Anniversary baby… 3 years in and we are stronger than ever. I love u to pieces!!” he wrote along with a photo of the two kissing. In summary, Aldean’s own rep says he’s not having marriage problems, while the country star and his wife’s social media pages further prove this point. Star, on the other hand, wants its readers to believe the couple is headed for a split because he possibly told a crowd of concertgoers they’re not making music together.
