While Selena Gomez may be blissfully enjoying a girls’ trip in Australia, ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber is pining for her all the way on the other side of the world. Despite their recent breakup, the “Sorry” singer is said to hoping to win back his on-again, off-again girlfriend.
“He isn’t dating. He thinks and talks about Selena all the time,” a friend of the 24-year-old spills People. “The chapter with her is definitely not finished.”
In fact, it seems the Biebs is doing all that he can to get his ex’s attention. Though Selena, 25, has gone on a social media cleanse, unfollowing all but 37 accounts on her Instagram, the Canadian pop star has found other ways to make sure he’s still on her radar.

A source tells Entertainment Tonight that Justin knew exactly what he was doing when he was recently spotted packing PDA with model Baskin Champion. “[He] knows everything he’s doing is going to get out,” the insider reveals. “[Selena is] off having fun with her friends and so he’s showing that he can still go out and have fun too. And to be honest, I’m sure there’s a part of him that wants to make Selena a bit jealous!”
The source adds, “This seems like right out of the old Justin’s textbook! He was very manipulative with her emotions the last time and did stuff like this a lot.”
As fans know, Justin and Selena had a tumultuous on-and-off relationship during their four years together. When the couple first last reconciled in 2017, an insider told Celebuzz! friends were worried that Selena would be heading for heartbreak once again.
“Justin hasn’t always been that great to Selena, so there’s always worry that he’s going to break her heart again,” our source said. “In the past, Selena took him back just to have things fall apart. He has a history of disappointing her and she’s been left devastated each time.”
Let’s just hope — for everybody’s sake — history doesn’t repeat itself.
