Julianne Moore, Justin Bieber, Amy Schumer, Alyssa Milano and Josh Gad among those supporting the students' march.
As the survivors of the Parkland, Florida shooting held a rally and began to plan a march on Washington, D.C., Hollywood stars came out in support of their initiative, drive and passion in the wake of a tragedy that has left 17 of their own dead with many others wounded and hospitalized.
On Feb. 14, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School became the scene of the latest school shooting. Over the weekend, many of the students, faculty, administration and parents staged a rally that was televised publicly. They spoke out against the lack of government response to all of these school shootings, and made the call to organize a "March for Our Lives" on Washington for March 24.

It is the most organized response yet from the survivors of a school shooting, possibly inspired by the Women's March, as well as the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements that began in 2017. Those who feel their voices are not being heard are organizing and demanding justice and change. It's working for #MeToo. The students of Parkland, Florida, are hoping it will work for them, too.
As momentum for their march began to pick up over the weekend, many of the stars in Hollywood decided to use their large platforms to publicly show their support for the social movement, as well as spreading the word to their many social media followers.
