Hello, handsome!
If you’re a fan of Fire Island, then you’re very well-aware of Cheyenne Parker.
While Logo hasn’t officially announced anything about another season of the gay reality show, the hunky model is still keeping busy with work and — more importantly — play. With more than 181,000 followers on his Instagram, it’s clear that he’s become a hot commodity since breaking out on the series.
What’s he up to these days? Celebuzz! recently caught up with Cheyenne himself to get the scoop!
A lot of people know you from Fire Island. What was filming Season 1 like?
Filming Fire Island was a very surreal experience. Not only slightly terrifying but also very enlightening. I think back on the filming process and recall adapting to that fairly quickly. I quite enjoyed the experience outside of being slightly uncomfortable with certain situations where I was faced with diffusing lies and deceitfulness on a too-slow television.

Is there a Season 2 in the works?
Not that I am aware of, no.
If there were a second season, what do you want to see happen with you and the rest of the cast?
I would love to film a new show with all of the boys except for maybe one (guess who). I am looking to pitch a new documentary-style show based of my own travels and experiences in LGBT cultures globally. I will be documenting my experiences on a large trip to Europe this May/June that will highlight the very unique intricacies of LGBT activism and awareness all over the world. From there, I hope to continue exploring the globe to absorb and learn as much as I can — I really look forward to sharing this with everyone.
You recently went blond! So tell us: Do blondes really have more fun?
I can’t speak for all blonds but will tell you that I am thoroughly enjoying a change in hair color… I usually go blonde once every year or two for a time to switch things up and add a little edge to my already wild demeanor.
Looking though your Instagram, you don’t seem afraid of posting racy photos. Would you say you’re very comfortable with nudity?
Oh yes, not on what I would consider to be a pornographic scale — but I have always been comfortable with being naked. I was always streaking through the house free as can be… living my life in the world exactly as I entered it… NUDE! Ironically, I came to be a fashion stylist and designer later in life and some of my most favorite modeling photos are ones where I am fully clothed. I consider the human body to be a true art form and that it should be celebrated no matter what shape, color, or size we are. If all you are is presenting your personality in a way that is true to you, there is nothing wrong with a little nudity. I think this is probably something more easily understood for those in the business of modeling or photography. I have no shame in the photos I’ve taken.

Clearly, you have a *killer* body! Walk us through your workout routine.
I work out twice per day, five days a week with two days off for recovery. I hit the gym for a warm-up, foam roll, stretch, and steam once early in the morning at around 7 a.m. Then later in the evening, I go back to a targeted lifting routine, alternating upper and lower body. Abs are always included in each exercise. Diet is a huge part of my life, not just exercise. And I can promise you this: One doesn’t work so well without the other.
Any specific diets or beauty regimen?
I’m a huge advocate of “maintenance” and wellness in general. I will be launching a new travel and wellness blog that details my travels, favorite beauty products, meal plans, restaurants, art, and fashions. I find that travel and immersion in other cultures does wonders for the mind. Keeping the mind stimulated is something I think is key to keeping yourself active and on top of your health. If you’re unhappy and under stimulated, you’re not going to have the same drive and work ethic you would if properly exposed to the world’s beauty and wonderment. Spreading joy and helping others does wonders for your overall health. It’s not all just physical.
You have a huge following on Instagram. What’s your tip for taking a good selfie?
Ironically my Instagram took off in an organic manner and transformed itself into a business platform that was slightly unexpected, so I cant say I’m aware of a particular algorithm for a selfie. I think as long as you’re spreading a message of positivity and spreading joy through your photos, you’re golden in my book.
