Heather Locklear’s Family Is ‘Hurt And Angry’ The ‘Sober’ Actress Is Back With Her Ex So Soon After Exiting Rehab!

A source told ET that the actress is in therapy and sober after entering a treatment facility earlier this month following her arrest for felony domestic battery and battery on a police officer back in February.

The insider also revealed that the Melrose Place star is back with her boyfriend Chris Heisser, who she reportedly said tried to kill and choke her the night of her arrest:
"Heather came out of rehab and went straight back into the arms of Chris Heisser… They are like oil and water, fighting nonstop."
As we reported, Heisser told cops the actress repeatedly struck him and even bit his face before her brother arrived at the scene and called the cops. Hours after their dispute, Heisser was arrested for DUI.

According to the source, the 56-year-old's family doesn't think this combative relationship is good for her mental health and wishes the couple would part ways. The insider explained:
"Her family wants to see her focus on her health and sobriety and once that's in place, she can then start fresh with a new man. Right now, Heather is sober and she is in therapy. She is taking it one day at a time."
One family member in particular who wants the actress to cut ties with her high school boyfriend is her 20-year-old daughter Ava Sambora. The source says the mother-daughter relationship is a work in progress, revealing:
"Ava is hurt and angry that her mother is taking steps backwards [by going back to Heisser]. Ava is coping as she always does because she has no choice … Ava deals with a lot of anxiety."
Earlier this month, Ava jetted off to Hawaii with her dad, Richie Sambora, in order to get away from the spotlight and "cope" with Locklear's arrest.
Maybe Locklear wouldn't run back to an unhealthy relationship if the family tried coping together? But what do YOU think??
