George Clooney is not begging wife Amal for more babies, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim. The actor himself has already stressed he’s not having any more kids.
According to Woman’s Day, Clooney is eager for his wife to get pregnant again, just 11 months after she gave birth to a baby boy and girl. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “George has been hinting for weeks he wants at least one more, and soon. He’s obsessed with the fact the twins are Amal’s mini-mes and wants another one that will look just like him.”
The outlet’s questionable insider goes on to say that Amal told her husband she “isn’t ready” to conceive again because “her body went through a lot having the twins, plus she feels like she’s in a good routine.” The seemingly nonexistent tipster adds, “A newborn would change everything and she’d prefer to wait a few more years.”
The tabloid’s story simply isn’t true. Clooney himself said in an interview with “Extra” last October that he doesn’t plan to expand his family any further. When asked if he was “done at two,” the actor emphatically responded, “Done!”
As for Amal, the notion that she wants to wait a few years to have more children completely contradicts what the human rights lawyers previously said on the subject. In a September 2017 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Amal revealed that one of the primary reasons she doesn’t want more kids is due to her age. “I’m 39. I already had them quite late,” she noted. The spouses are on the same page when it comes to their family plans.
Unfortunately, Gossip Cop frequently has to debunk phony stories surrounding Clooney’s role as a father. We recently shot down an absurd report about the actor supposedly wanting to keep his twins’ first dirty diapers as mementos. Shortly before that nonsense, another outlet made up a bogus story about Clooney’s twins drenching his $5,000 tuxedo in milk.
As for the idea of the couple adding to their brood, Gossip Cop busted a tabloid in December for wrongly reporting that Amal was pregnant with twins again, just six months after giving birth. As time has proven, the human rights lawyers isn’t expecting another child, let alone two more.
The tabloids have constantly been printing lies about Clooney and his family ever since he became a father for the first time last June. This latest article about the actor’s nonexistent plans for more kids is yet another example.
