Ellen Pompeo was vacationing in Italy late on Friday when she allegedly had her purse stolen "from right under my nose" while out and about walking around the city!

The Grey's Anatomy star revealed the deception and theft on her Instagram account, while also noting how she nearly caught the thief after using technology to track everything down (below):
