Eddie Cibrian Banned LeAnn Rimes From Set Of TV Show?

Has Eddie Cibrian really banned wife LeAnn Rimes from visiting him on the set of his upcoming TV show? That’s the claim in one of this week’s tabloids. A rep for the actor, however, tells us it’s completely false.

Cibrian is currently filming the ABC series “Take Two,” in which he stars as a private investigator, and according to Life & Style, the actor doesn’t want his wife distracting him at work. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Eddie has banned LeAnn from the LA set of the show. He sees this as a chance to become a major star. He needs to stay focused and keep his mind on the job.”

The outlet’s report is inaccurate from the very start. “Take Two” is shooting in Vancouver, not Los Angeles. Considering that the supposed “insider” doesn’t know where the set of the show is located, it’s pretty clear none of this is true. Still, the alleged tipster further claims that back in 2010, Rimes “caused friction” on the set of “CSI: Miami” because she acted like a diva whenever she visited Cibrian. To avoid similar drama, the actor is said to have “asked LeAnn to stay away,” according to the seemingly nonexistent source.

However, this entire article is based on information from an anonymous and untraceable “insider” who doesn’t know where “Take Two” is actually filming. Gossip Cop, on the other hand, is told on the record by Cibrian’s spokesperson that the report is both “ridiculous” and “completely untrue.” It’s provably untrue as well. Rimes was spotted visiting Cibrian on the set of his show back in March.

Gossip Cop often has to debunk false reports about Cibrian and Rimes having marital issues, so we’re not surprised Life & Style is using his new TV show as an excuse to make up more lies. We previously busted a bogus story about the singer installing hidden cameras in the couple’s home so she could spy on her husband while she’s on the road.

Shortly before that nonsense, Gossip Cop called out another tabloid for falsely claiming that Rimes and Cibrian were “broke” and getting a divorce over their supposed financial trouble. Similar tabloid stories about nonexistent marriage problems trace all the way back to 2011 when the couple tied the knot. This latest article stops short of claiming they’re headed for divorce, but the notion that Cibrian doesn’t want his wife around while he’s working is equally untrue.
