Christina Aguilera just revealed the inspiration behind one of her best songs, "Infatuation." Turns out it's about an ex-boyfriend who broke her heart when he came out as gay.

On the season premiere of "RuPaul's Drag Race" after show — "Untucked" — Aguilera was chatting with the Season 10 queens when she was asked about the subject of "Infatuation," the song about her forbidden love with a Latin man off her 2002 album, "Stripped."

"It was heartbreaking because I found out he played for your team, not mine," Aguilera said, without divulging her ex's name.

Contestant Vanessa Vanjie Mateo warned the singer that "he's gonna see this" and "he's gonna be mad."

"I hope so, girl!" Xtina replied.

Aguilera also spoke about the man who took "advantage" of her, thereby inspiring her song, "Fighter."

"Was that about someone?" asked contestant Monique Heart. "Girl, you read him for the back row. When you said, 'You tried to take a joy ride and came down in flames,' I said, 'Oooh, she read him!"

"Of course it was!" Aguilera replied. "He deserved it."

The singer went on to give the hopefuls advice on how to stay positive despite the downsides of show business, which for her have included "being around older men" and "a lot and dishonest people."

"Just keep living," Xtina advised. "I am so in awe and inspired by everything I'm seeing today. "We all have come from some journey. I'm sure we've all had a painful place and a struggle or something, and I think that's really relevant. And that's a part of my music and a part of where I came from."
