Is Camilla Parker Bowles really writing a “shocking” tell-all book about the royal family? That’s the latest claim coming from one particular tabloid, but Gossip Cop can exclusively correct it. We’re told it’s “not true.”

According to the magazine New Idea, the Duchess of Cornwall is “set to blow the lid off the royal family” with a $12 million tell-all. In the report, it’s ridiculously claimed that Parker Bowles has been in “top secret negotiations with book publishers in the U.S.” about a potential book deal, and it’s “believed” her views on Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle will “shock the world.” A so-called “source” is then quoted as telling the outlet, “Camilla’s been offered a whopping $10 million by a U.S. publishing house to spill all her secrets on her life with Charles, their affair and all the dramas from inside the palace.”

The tabloid’s alleged “insider” goes on to contend, “It’s caused terror to rip through the royal family in what they fear could be the biggest scandal they’ve ever faced. The entire family has been shaken to the core, especially Charles.” The publication’s questionable “source” further maintains the Duchess of Cornwall is even set to spill “potentially devastating details about how the Queen really reacted to Harry’s relationship with Markle,” as well as how Middleton supposedly tried to “bulldoze her journey to the throne.” “She’s so fed up with so many things behind palace doors, that’s why she’s really considering doing this book,” asserts the magazine’s tipster.

Gossip Cop fact-checked the story about Parker Bowles penning a tell-all and a royal insider first laughed off the claim before assuring us that it’s 100 percent “not true.” Contrary to the magazine’s manufactured report, which was seemingly pulled out of thin air, Bowles is not writing a “shocking” $12 million expose about the royals. Additionally, Parker Bowles is worth around $5 million as an active member of the royal family, and is not jeopardizing everything for that figure.

It should be noted the tabloid can’t even keep straight its phony narrative. In the headline of its article, New Idea alleges, “Camilla’s $12 million tell-all rocks the Queen and Prince Charles,” but in the body of its story, the outlet’s “source” says, “Camilla’s been offered a whopping $10 million.” More significantly, Parker Bowles and Prince Charles’ romance spans nearly 50 years, and she would never write a tell-all about the love of her life.

As for Parker Bowles allegedly not liking Middleton and Markle, that’s also made up. In November, for example, the Duchess of Cornwall gushed about Prince Harry’s engagement to the former “Suits” actress. “America’s loss is our gain. We are absolutely delighted,” the royal told reporters at the time. Gossip Cop would suggest people take Parker Bowles’ own words and actions over that of a tabloid.
