Sorry, Cameron Diaz has actually retired from acting.

We first caught wind of the 45-year-old star’s early retirement when pal Selma Blair told Metro News that the Charlie’s Angels alum had called it quits from Hollywood. “We were reminiscing about the film [The Sweetest Thing]. I would have liked to do a sequel, but Cameron’s retired from acting,” Selma said. “She’s like, ‘I’m done.'”

Though the actress later backtracked her statement on Twitter — tweeting, “Guys please, I was making a joke in an interview. CAMERON DIAZ is NOT retiring from ANYTHING” — it seems there was some truth to her claim.

In a new interview with the cast of The Sweetest Thing, Cameron confirmed she had indeed hung up her acting hat. When Entertainment Weekly asked the ex-castmates if they’ve all gotten together at all since filming the 2002 movie, the three revealed that haven’t in more 15 years.

“Goddamn it, why not?” Cameron mused.

“I don’t know. You guys tell me. I see Selma,” Christina Applegate replied, adding she has free time on her hands now that she’s “semi-retired.”

“Maybe I should, you know, I mean, I’m down. I’m literally doing nothing,” Cameron told her former co-stars. “I’m totally down. I’m semi-retired, too, and I am actually retired, so I would love to see you ladies.”

Cameron’s last movie, Annie, came out in 2014. Since then, she married Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden after a less than a year of dating.
