Britney Spears Hiding Pregnancy?

Britney Spears is not hiding a secret pregnancy, despite a inaccurate report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the claim. We’re told the singer simply isn’t expecting a child.

According to Naughty Gossip, the pop star is approximately three months along with boyfriend Sam Asghari’s baby, but she’s keeping the news “under wraps.” The unreliable site is basing its theory on an item posted by the blog Blind Gossip, which says a mystery singer is pregnant, but “don’t ask her questions about it right now… or she might get mad enough to smack you over the head with an umbrella!”

The “umbrella” line is an apparent reference to the infamous 2007 incident in which Spears attacked paparazzi with an umbrella. Naughty Gossip seemingly took this clue and guessed the article was about Spears, but then claims to have “exclusively” learned from “sources” that the singer is pregnant.

Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a mutual pal of ours and Spears, who assures us on the condition of anonymity that the singer isn’t expecting a child. This fact is made all the more clear by many of the pop star’s recent Instagram videos, in which she’s showing off her strenuous workouts and dance routines. It’s highly unlikely a woman who’s three months pregnant would or could perform the feats she accomplishes.

For example, an Instgram video posted just two weeks ago shows Spears doing a backflip off a trampoline. Last week, Spears recorded herself doing a series of grueling sit-ups, push-ups, squats and leg lifts, even using weights for many of the exercises. And earlier Monday, Spears shared a video of herself practicing rapid and complex dance moves. It’s also worth noting, the singer’s stomach appears to be perfectly flat in all of these videos.

Additionally, Spears is heading out soon on her international Piece of Me tour, which kicks off in July and runs through the end of October. If the blog were correct, then the singer would be heavily pregnant throughout the entirety of her tour and ready to give birth right around the time it wraps up. This scenario is highly illogical. Regardless, a trusted Spears confidante tells us on background she isn’t expecting a baby. We’ve reached out to an Asghari contact as well.

Of course, we’re not surprised another one of the gossip publications is falsely claiming Spears is pregnant, as we’ve debunked countless similar claims as of late. In February, Us Weekly wrongly reported Spears and Asghari were planning to have a baby together. One month before that, Life & Style made up a story about the singer wanting both “a wedding and a baby.” This latest take on the subject is equally untrue.
