Brad Pitt Introduced Angelina Jolie To “New Girlfriend” Neri Oxman?

Brad Pitt did not introduce Angelina Jolie to “his new girlfriend” Neri Oxman, despite a completely false report. As Gossip Cop has stressed several times, the movie star isn’t dating the MIT professor. We can exclusively debunk this latest phony angle in the ongoing saga.

According to Woman’s Day, Pitt wants to stay on his estranged wife’s good side amid their custody negotiations, and he feels a good strategy is to be open and honest about his supposed romance with Oxman. “Brad knows only too well Ange has the power to keep dragging out their divorce settlement and keep him from seeing his kids,” a so-called “insider” tell the magazine. “The last thing he wants is to have to choose between Neri and the children.”

The outlet’s questionable source goes on to say that Pitt was extremely nervous about the two women meeting, but “amazingly, Ange wholeheartedly approved.” The seemingly phony tipster continues, in bizarrely unnatural language, “They got on like a house on fire and Brad felt like he was playing piggy in the middle.” The “insider” further contends that Jolie and Oxman “hit it off straight away” and “even swapped phone numbers” at the end of the meeting.

“Ange really turned on the charm and loves the fact Brad is dating a brainbox who looks a bit like her,” adds the suspicious source, who goes on to say that Oxman “had something of a girl-crush on Ange.” Tellingly, the unreliable magazine never mentions when or where this supposed meeting between the trio took place. That’s because this entire article is fabricated.

As Gossip Cop has reiterated, Pitt and Oxman have a “professional friendship,” but they’re not romantically involved. Outlets such as People, E! News and the New York Post have all confirmed that the actor and professor aren’t a couple. Additionally, Pitt’s own spokesperson has told us on the record that he’s not dating Oxman.

Despite the tabloid’s entire story being based on a false premise, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the situation to get to the bottom of these latest claims. We’re told on the condition of anonymity that Pitt never introduced Jolie to Oxman, and the magazine’s account of events is “completely untrue.”

It’s also worth noting, Gossip Cop busted Woman’s Day earlier this month for coming up with a similarly bogus story. The tabloid claimed that Pitt brought Oxman to a family wedding and introduced her to all of his relatives. Once again, the actor isn’t dating the professor, so this notion that he’s going around introducing her to all the people in his life is simply absurd.
