We finally got our first official hint that Disney Channel’s third “Descendants” installment is on the way, and it’s a big one!
The channel’s Instagram account just posted a video teasing “major DCOM news” coming on Friday during the premiere of their newest original movie “Zombies.”
Fans were quick to spy the franchise’s trademark apple logo silhouetted in the background, which means this could be THE “Descendants 3” announcement we’ve all been waiting for. Check it out for yourself.

Even more proof: The saga’s star Dove Cameron has been hard at work on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” but she just revealed she has been filming “secret secret” things in the meantime that would cause fans to “flip out” if they could see it.

While this could be related to the new music she’s been working on, it could also be the start of “Descendants 3” promo shoots. We’ll have to wait and see, but it’s all very exciting!
