Beyonce, Jay-Z Battling Over Top Billing For ‘On The Run II’ Tour?

A new report claiming Beyonce is battling her husband Jay-Z for top billing when they go on their “On The Run II” tour is fake news. Gossip Cop can exclusively shoot down this absurd claim. We’re told it’s “stupid.”
According to the National Enquirer, as the superstar singers prepare for their upcoming “On The Run II” tour, Beyonce is “lobbying for top billing.” The repeatedly discredited supermarket tabloid quotes a so-called “source” irrelevantly stating the obvious, “If Jay and Beyonce were touring with anyone else, there is no way their people would agree to the second spot,” before adding, “Beyonce will get top billing.”
Gossip Cop will not even address the insanity of the floated scenario of a tour that was billed, for instance, “Tyga” well above a line reading, “with Beyonce and Jay-Z.” But the claim that “Beyonce will get top billing” above Jay-Z is equally ridiculous. The husband-and-wife team will get equal billing, much the way they did on the official poster for the first “On The Run Tour.” For that, Jay-Z’s name was over his photo on the left, while her name was superimposed over her image on the right.
Similarly, the poster for the HBO special of their tour had Beyonce’s name on the left, corresponding to her picture, while it read “Jay-Z” over his image on the same row on the right. Neither of their names got “top billing then, and Gossip Cop is assured it will be the exact same way for their new “On The Run II Tour,” which kicks off in Cardiff, Wales on June 6 and works its way through Europe and North America before ending on October 4 in Seattle. A source who works with Beyonce, but wasn’t at liberty to comment on the record, tells Gossip Cop the tabloid’s contention is simply “stupid.”
Oddly, the Enquirer makes no mention of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s “$1 billion divorce.” A little more than a year ago, the unreliable outlet swore up and down that the couple was on the verge of a split. It even declared that the birth of their twins “won’t save [their] nightmare marriage.” As proven then and again now, the only nightmare seems to be the tabloid’s fake news about Jay-Z and Beyonce.
