Ben Affleck, Josh Duhamel Fighting Over Jennifer Garner?

Ben Affleck and Josh Duhamel are not fighting over Jennifer Garner, despite a bogus tabloid report that’s wrong on several levels. Gossip Cop can exclusively set the record straight. There’s no truth to this supposed love triangle.

Last week, Gossip Cop busted Us Weekly for wrongly reporting that Affleck and Garner were reuniting and considering giving their marriage a “second chance.” Prior to that, we debunked a slew of phony articles linking the actress to Duhamel, her co-star in the new movie Love, Simon.

Now, OK! is combining both bogus narratives and alleging that Affleck and Duhamel are battling each other for the actress’s affection. An alleged insider tells the magazine that the actor is begging his estranged wife “to come back,” while Garner’s co-star is also trying “to make a play” for her. None of this is true.

As Gossip Cop already noted, Affleck and Garner are not reuniting as a couple. The exes are on good terms and work together to co-parent their three children, but their divorce is still moving forward. Meanwhile, Garner and Duhamel laughed off the rumors that they’re dating while promoting Love, Simon last week. The actor joked during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, “Jen is an amazing catch. She deserves somebody far better than me.”

Affleck simply isn’t at war with Duhamel over his estranged wife, who neither of them are romancing. Unfortunately, OK! has been pushing this fictional storyline for months. Gossip Cop recently busted the tabloid for falsely claiming Garner and Duhamel were hiding their relationship from the media.

Meanwhile, Gossip Cop called out another unreliable tabloid for alleging that Affleck was angry about Duhamel spending time with his kids. Only, Garner’s co-star has never hung out with the actress and her children. Despite the Love, Simon stars repeatedly denying the rumors about them being together, the tabloids can’t seem to give up this phony narrative.

It’s also worth noting, whenever the gossip publications claim Affleck and Garner are back together, they seem to forget that the actor is currently dating “Saturday Night Live” producer Lindsay Shookus. Regardless, this ongoing saga is pure fiction.
