Angelina Jolie “Attacking” Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston?

Is Angelina Jolie planning to “attack” Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston? A tabloid report claims she’s looking to get “revenge” on the pair for supposedly reuniting. But Gossip Cop can bust the false story.

According to New Idea, Pitt and Aniston are “finally back together again,” and Jolie is “privately seething.” The gossip magazine alleges she’s “devastated” Pitt has “taken his romance with Jen to the next level by introducing” her to their kids. Now, “after weeks of stoic silence and careful plotting,” the outlet contends Jolie is “looking for revenge.”

The publication claims Jolie actually spoke out about the situation when she reportedly told Hello! magazine, “If you live life and walk around thinking of yourself and your own needs and desires then not only is it a selfish life, but it ends up being quite an unhappy life.” Though the purported question was reportedly about what she wants to teach her children, New Idea is connecting that unverified statement to Pitt and alleging his estranged wife has “come up with a plot to hit him where it hurts.”

“We’ve heard that she’s in urgent talks with her lawyers to change her attack on Brad,” a so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, referring to their divorce battle. The tabloid’s supposed source asserts something “sinister [is] at play,” and maintains Jolie “wants to make a whole lot of new demands and make things as hard as possible for him.” The magazine and its alleged tipster further claim Jolie believes “Brad is only back with Jen as a way to enact revenge” on her for filing for divorce, and sees the move as “the ultimate slap in the face.”

But there’s a number of indications this is all untrue. For starters, the outlet refers to an already debunked Life & Style story that claimed Jolie and Pitt were “days away” from settling their divorce and custody agreement when she “suddenly reversed course.” As Gossip Cop has already reported, the estranged spouses were never close to a settlement. Jolie and Pitt’s private talks are continuing, which is why they recently got an extension on their court case.

The most egregious issue here, of course, is that Pitt and Aniston are absolutely not dating. This report is based on that phony premise, but Jolie has no need to “attack” Pitt and get “revenge” on the pair over a nonexistent relationship. In fact, Gossip Cop already called out the tabloid last week for its bogus tale about Aniston supposedly spending time with Pitt’s kids. These are all fictitious claims about a love triangle that isn’t really in play. There’s clearly an attack on the truth and reality here, but that’s about it.
