The Bravo personality does not believe SJP was "exploiting a tragedy" when she wished Cattrall and her family well after brother's unexpected death.
According to Andy Cohen, "there's only one person fighting" in the feud between "Sex and the City" stars Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Over the weekend, Catrall put SJP on blast after the latter extended her condolences for the unexpected passing of Catrall's brother.

"I thought it was fake," Cohen, a longtime friend of SJP's, said on his radio show Monday. "I was like, 'There's no way Kim Cattrall has posted this on her Instagram.'"
Cattrall posted the following message on her Instagram Saturday: "I don't need your love or support at this tragic time." She tagged SJP, adding, "My Mom asked me today, 'When will that Sarah Jessica Parker, that hypocrite, leave you alone?' Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear. (If I haven't already). You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I'm writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your 'nice girl' persona."
Cattrall's outrage was preceded by SJP's comment on a different post of Cattrall's that was related to the death of her 55-year-old brother. "Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx," SJP commented.
"I was thinking about it over the weekend," Cohen said. "And I was like, well, she follows Kim on Instagram, Kim posted about her brother dying, and she expressed her condolences on the post."

But before she expressed her condolences via social media, SJP addressed Cattrall's loss at a Feb. 9 screening for her HBO series, "Divorce."
"I can't begin to know how her family's managing such a loss. We all send our love and condolences and grant her the privacy that she's asked for," SJP told Extra.
"When you're doing press, you're asked the same questions about what's going on," Cohen said. "I'm sure they were asking her, 'What do you think about what happened?' And she simply and concisely expressed her condolences. I would not call that exploiting a tragedy. What was she supposed to do? Say something bad? I don't understand."
Cohen added that he didn't like the way the feud was being characterized "as a cat fight."

"There's only one person fighting here," he said, adding that SJP had only "the nicest things" to say about Cattrall when the latter came up during SJP's recent appearance on "Watch What Happens Live."
"The only thing she's ever commented about the movie or about Kim not wanting to do the movie was that she was disappointed that the studio pulled the plug on it," Cohen said. "I don't get it. It's a cat fight of one, from where I see it."
