Gwyneth Paltrow Choosing Jennifer Aniston’s Side In Chelsea Handler Feud?

A new report claiming Gwyneth Paltrow is choosing Jennifer Aniston’s side in the actress’s supposed feud with Chelsea Handler is completely untrue. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. Reps for both Paltrow and Aniston assures us it’s false.

According to Naughty Gossip, “former friends” Aniston and Handler are on such bad terms that their mutual pal Paltrow was “forced to pick between them.” Tellingly, the outlet’s alleged “source” has no insight into why the actress and TV personality are supposedly at odds. The seemingly phony insider simply states, “All Gwyneth knows is that something very bad went down between Jennifer and Chelsea and it involved Justin [Theroux].”

As the story goes, Aniston and Handler “hate each other so much that they can’t even be in the same room,” so Paltrow was forced to side with one of them, and she chose the actress over the TV personality. Only, this claim is provably untrue considering that both Aniston and Handler attended Paltrow’s engagement party in Los Angeles around two weeks ago. Yes, both were invited and in the same room together.

As for the alleged drama between the trio, Paltrow and Aniston’s own spokespeople tell Gossip Cop on the record that it’s “completely made up.” We’re further told, “All three ladies are and have always been friends.” While the blog hides behind an anonymous, untraceable and almost assuredly nonexistent “source,” we’ve learned directly from the actress’s reps that this entire situation is fabricated.

Also, Gossip Cop already debunked the rumors of a feud between Aniston and Handler last year. At the time, we were told the two “still have a friendship,” but “don’t talk as much as they used to.” That doesn’t mean there’s any battle or animosity between them, despite various reports suggesting otherwise. Regardless, Paltrow hasn’t chosen one over the other, nor does she need to.

Meanwhile, we’ve also had to bust bogus stories regarding the dynamic between the two actresses. Gossip Cop recently called out a gossip magazine for making up a story about Paltrow “playing matchmaker” for Aniston in the wake of her split from Theroux.

It’s also worth noting, the tabloids frequently concoct fake news surrounding Aniston’s relationship with her A-list pals. Gossip Cop recently corrected an article falsely claiming Aniston was worried about losing her famous friends to her estranged husband. Oddly enough, that story cited both Paltrow and Handler as examples of the celebrity friends the actress was supposedly afraid of losing.
