Are Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins doing a reality show? A new report claims they’re pitching a television show together. But Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this story, which a rep for Jenner tells us is untrue.

“Since she stopped keeping up with the Kardashians,” Jenner’s “reality TV stock has dropped,” according to Life & Style. The tabloid contends, however, that the former “I Am Cait” star “has a plan to turn that around” with help from Hutchins. “Caitlyn’s pitching a new reality show with Sophia,” a so-called “source” is quoted as saying.

Continues this supposed snitch, “Caitlyn is desperate to get back in front of the cameras, and she’s hoping to make Sophia a star in the process.” The gossip magazine alleges Jenner views Hutchins “as a protégé.” Claims the purported tipster, “Caitlyn admits she wasn’t the best father to all her children but as a mentor to Sophia, she hopes to show the world a different side of herself. And she thinks Sophia could be an inspiration for young people, encouraging them to be their true selves.”

While the publication’s alleged insider maintains Jenner and Hutchins are “working hard to get [their] new show on the air,” the specific premise is never mentioned, aside from the idea of showcasing the former Olympian as a mentor. It’s also not revealed to just who they’ve been pitching this supposed series. Perhaps that’s because there’s no such show in the works.

Jenner has admitted she wasn’t the best dad to her older children, but she’s not trying to rectify that with a reality program involving Hutchins. Her spokesperson tells Gossip Cop exclusively that it’s “not true” they are angling to do a reality show. Speculation about the nature of the relationship between the two women has run rampant for months, but most tabloid rumors about them appear to be inaccurate. For instance, earlier this week Gossip Cop busted wrong claims about Jenner was marrying Hutchins.

As for Life & Style, it was less than a month ago that we called out the magazine for falsely alleging Jenner was using Hutchins as a love coach. Notably, nothing is mentioned in this new story about that. And on the subject of reality TV, nothing is said here about Jenner and O.J. Simpson having a televised reunion, which was the premise of a story offered by the outlet last fall. Evidently, the publication isn’t very knowledgeable when it comes to Jenner, Hutchins, Simpson or TV.
