Dove Cameron’s return to the “Descendants 3” set after her “Liv and Maddie” Emmy win this week was a major moment!

On her first day back, the 22-year-old star was greeted by a standing ovation from the cast and crew and an emotional speech by director Kenny Ortega, which she shared via Instagram.

“It was a no-brainer for the Academy, if you’ve seen the show,” Kenny said. “She’s absolutely extraordinary on it, and there’s no question that the Disney Channel has never had a brighter or more deserving actress. I knew she’d come back with it. I knew it.”
