Channing Tatum, Amber Heard Romance NOT Developing, Despite Late & Wrong Report

There’s no romance developing between Channing Tatum and Amber Heard, despite a late and wrong report that Gossip Cop already busted. We can once again set the record straight on the dating rumors. Reps for both stars confirm they’re not involved.

Last week, NW wrongly reported that Tatum and Heard had started dating following the actor’s split from Jenna Dewan. But the Magic Mike XXL co-stars, who were also wrongly linked while shooting their 2015 movie, never had a fling and aren’t having one now. Unfortunately, Star is insisting on spreading this false narrative with a new piece titled, “Amber Works Her Magic On Channing.”

A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Channing and Amber always insisted they’re just good friends, but people have heard that Amber started texting Channing after she found out he was back on the market.” The outlet’s questionable insider adds, “She wanted to hang out and grab drinks together. It seems like Amber’s interested in Channing – and it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise if they started seeing each other.”

The magazine’s premise is based on information from an anonymous and seemingly nonexistent “source,” but Tatum and Heard’s own spokespeople say on the record there’s no truth to it. Meanwhile, People noted around two weeks ago that Heard is still “currently single after splitting from Elon Musk for a second time in February.”

It’s also worth noting, Tatum and Dewan warned in their separation announcement earlier this month that stories about their breakup would likely “get distorted into alternative facts.” This tale of the actor’s imaginary relationship with Heard is a perfect example. It seems the two are being paired up romantically simply because they happened to have co-starred in a movie together.

It’s been less than a month since Tatum and Dewan announced they were separating, but the tabloids have been determined to arbitrarily set him up with another famous women. Gossip Cop recently busted a bogus article about the actor planning a date with Angelina Jolie. Meanwhile, one unreliable outlet alleged the actor’s friendship with Halle Berry played a role in his split, which wasn’t the case.

In response to all the recent fake news surrounding the couple’s breakup, Gossip Cop recently wrote an article separating fact from fiction surrounding Tatum and Dewan’s split. This latest article regarding Heard can be added to the fiction pile.
